Can InnoviCares cover the brand-versus-generic Vyvanse price gap if extended health stops paying in BC?

InnoviCares may reduce part of a brand-versus-generic Vyvanse price difference in British Columbia if Vyvanse is a participating manufacturer product and the pharmacy processes the card, but it is not government coverage, it is not PharmaCare, and it does not guarantee that your remaining bill will be zero after extended health stops paying. InnoviCares describes itself as a free manufacturer-funded savings card that can coordinate with insurance and can cover a portion of the difference between a qualifying original brand and a generic, along with some markup and dispensing components. The amount can differ by medication and by the province where you fill, Quebec may be excluded, and leftover copays or fees can remain. This is only my own experience in B.C. After my extended health hit a generic-only rule, I showed an InnoviCares card for brand Vyvanse. The pharmacist said it took some of the brand gap but I still paid a remainder plus a dispensing fee. It was not a government plan and it did not make the fill free.
