Are Ozempic and Wegovy literally the same drug, or is that just marketing?

They contain the same active ingredient, semaglutide, but they're approved for different uses and typically come in different maximum doses in Canada. Ozempic is approved for type 2 diabetes, Wegovy specifically for chronic weight management. So it's not "just marketing".
