University student in Ontario: how do exam accommodations actually work after an ADHD diagnosis?
Diagnosed mid-semester, finals in six weeks, and the accommodations process is a black box I don't have executive function to spare on. Second year, Ontario.
Specific questions because the university website answers none of them: Who do I actually register with? Does my diagnosis letter suffice or do they demand the full psychoeducational report (which I don't have and can't afford)? How long does approval take — as in, is six weeks even possible? And the one I can't ask anyone IRL: does it show up anywhere a prof or future employer sees? Half my hesitation is not wanting "the accommodations student" following me around.
