It is completely normal to feel nervous before a first dose. Some people notice clearer focus within hours. Others feel subtle changes. Mild side effects can include decreased appetite, slight jitteriness, dry mouth, or trouble falling asleep if taken late.
You should not feel dramatically different as a person. If you feel overly wired, anxious, or unwell, that is important to report.
The first few days are about observation. Notice focus, mood, appetite, and sleep. Keep expectations realistic. The goal is improved regulation, not perfection.
Most people tolerate starting doses well. And remember, adjustments are part of the process.
