Does CAMH psychiatry do adult ADHD assessments or only the neurodevelopmental clinic in Ontario?

Neither CAMH psychiatry accessed through Access CAMH nor Adult Neurodevelopmental Services currently functions as a public adult ADHD assessment clinic in Ontario. Access CAMH states that CAMH is unable to offer ADHD assessment and treatment and points people to community resource sheets. ANS is a specialized program for adults with intellectual disability and/or autism, including autism diagnostic assessment for eligible adults, not an ADHD clinic. CAMH does publish professional education on adult ADHD screening and diagnosis, which is meant to support community clinicians rather than replace a patient-facing ADHD clinic. A family doctor or NP may still send a psychiatry referral form to Access CAMH for another mental health reason, but naming ADHD as the reason does not create an official ADHD waitlist, because that service is not currently offered.
