CAMH’s Adult Neurodevelopmental Services can complete autism diagnostic assessments for eligible adults, but it is not an ADHD clinic, and Access CAMH currently does not offer ADHD assessment or treatment. ANS outpatient services are intended for people 16 and older with a confirmed intellectual disability and/or autism who have a mental health concern or behaviours that challenge, and autism assessments are described for adults 18 and older who meet eligibility criteria. ANS psychiatry may consult on mental health or medication for people already in that neurodevelopmental population, which is not the same as a dual autism-plus-ADHD diagnostic program for the general public. CAMH professional pages discuss how clinicians screen and diagnose adult ADHD, but those pages are education for professionals, not a promise that ANS will diagnose ADHD. Because CAMH does not currently offer ADHD assessment, there is no official published CAMH ADHD waitlist to quote.
Rules, coverage and referral pathways vary by province and can change; confirm the current position with the relevant institution or provincial program.

This is only my personal experience in Ontario, not advice for anyone else. I was referred to CAMH Adult Neurodevelopmental Services hoping they would look at autism and ADHD together. What I was told matched the public pages: ANS is for intellectual disability and autism assessment, not an ADHD clinic, and Access CAMH was not offering ADHD assessment or treatment. I still had to look for ADHD care somewhere else. I am sharing a personal story, not a rule that every referral ends this way.

Different experience, also only mine. My family doctor sent a CAMH psychiatry referral for adult ADHD after an autism question was already on the chart. It did not turn into an ADHD assessment at CAMH. I later talked with a community nurse practitioner who treated ADHD as a separate issue. A relative in another Ontario city had a different mix of waits. This is a personal account, not a provincial or national rule.
