Started titration last week. Focus is better but appetite just disappears mid-morning. Do you usually see this settle or does it mean the dose is too high?

Yes, this is one of the most common stimulant side effects. When medication starts working, dopamine and norepinephrine increase, and appetite signals get suppressed. It can feel very sudden, like hunger just disappears. For many people, appetite returns in the evening when the medication wears off. The key is planning around that pattern. Eating a solid breakfast before the dose, using structured snack times, and choosing nutrient dense foods can help prevent unintentional weight loss. If appetite suppression is severe, persistent, or causing fatigue or mood changes, dose adjustments may be needed. You should not feel malnourished or unwell. This is manageable with the right strategy.
