Do stimulants affect emotional memory at all?

Stimulants primarily target attention and executive function through dopamine and norepinephrine pathways. They do not typically erase or blunt emotional memory. Some people feel more regulated on medication, which can reduce emotional reactivity in the present moment. That might change how intensely you experience emotions day to day, but it does not usually alter stored memories.
