If I get referred to an in-person specialist, does the platform cover that cost, or is that entirely on me?
My provider mentioned a possible referral to an in-person specialist for something outside their scope. Trying to understand upfront whether that referral cost is something the platform absorbs as part of my existing membership, or if I should expect that to be an entirely separate expense once I'm actually seeing the specialist.

Got referred to an in-person specialist once, referral itself was free through my existing platform relationship, but the actual specialist visit was billed separately and ended up being covered by my provincial plan since it was a covered specialist type. Worth asking specifically what kind of specialist before assuming either way.
