Can a doctor's LinkedIn profile be used as a way to verify their credentials?
Found my assessing provider's LinkedIn before my appointment and it lined up nicely with what the platform's bio said, which made me feel reassured. Is that actually a legitimate way to help verify someone's credentials, or is LinkedIn too easy to fake to really mean much here?

Do the LinkedIn check mostly for vibes and background context at this point, not verification, the college registry is really the only thing I actually treat as confirming anything official. LinkedIn is more like 'does this feel consistent' than actual proof.
