After 50, the goal of ADHD treatment is not reduced to safety alone, though safety checks are a larger part of care. Treatment goals are not limited to employment. Safety monitoring does not replace everyday goals such as bills, relationships, and getting through the week. FasTreat also offers private online ADHD assessment and ongoing care, depending on your needs and clinical assessment.

I still wanted fewer lost bills and fewer fights about the recycling, not a seniors safety lecture as the whole point. Safety talk happened, blood pressure included, but they also asked what a good week would look like in my kitchen. Retirement had not made the mess smaller. I did not hear that the only remaining goal was not falling over. This is my wish list, not a clinic policy.

Safety talks happened, but so did a boring conversation about my bank passwords and whether I wanted help from the pharmacy packs. I had been afraid they would only care about not crashing the car. The goals felt like the same old ADHD life, with extra heart monitoring attached. I am not saying medicine is required. Only that my after-50 plan was not just a fall poster.
