Why does my ADHD medication only work some days?

Personal only. Some days it feels like magic, some days like water. Hormone week plus bad sleep was the pattern for me. I waited until I had more than a few dramatic days before I raised it. Some weeks were fine if I slept; other weeks the same routine collapsed. I did not start, stop, or split medicines on my own. Clinic review was slower than I wanted, but safer. This is anecdotal, not a recommendation.
