Is trouble switching tasks worse in hybrid work environments?
I moved to hybrid work and switching between home/office tasks is really tough. Is this common?

For many people with ADHD, yes. Hybrid work removes consistent environmental cues. At home, there may be comfort but also distractions. At the office, there is structure but also interruptions. Switching between those worlds requires constant cognitive shifting.
Task switching already relies heavily on executive function. When routines change day to day, your brain has to rebuild momentum repeatedly. That can feel exhausting and inefficient.
Creating micro routines for both environments helps. Even small anchors like starting work the same way each day can reduce that mental friction.
