Psychologist report vs psychiatrist diagnosis in Canada — which do insurers and employers accept?
Paid for the full psychoeducational assessment. Own the 30-page report. Genuinely useful document — and now my insurer's disability paperwork wants a "physician diagnosis" and I'm staring at this expensive PDF wondering what it legally IS.

Can someone map this out: where does a registered psychologist's report carry full weight (school? workplace accommodations? insurance?), and where does the system still demand an MD's signature on top? Wish someone had explained the difference between "diagnosis" and "diagnosis the right entity will accept" before I chose my route.
