You may be able to claim some of a virtual ADHD assessment as a federal medical expense if it was provided by a practitioner Canada Revenue Agency recognizes and if the expense otherwise meets CRA rules, but a specific virtual clinic invoice is not guaranteed to qualify, especially after an insurer has already refused it. Psychologists are listed among authorized medical practitioners for the medical expense tax credit; that listing does not automatically approve every telehealth platform, every questionnaire-only product, or every amount you paid. CRA's eligible medical expense pages explain what can appear on the return, including that you generally claim eligible amounts not reimbursed by insurance. C. MSP and not PharmaCare.
Rules, coverage and referral pathways vary by province and can change; confirm the current position with the relevant institution or provincial program.

This is only my personal experience with taxes in B.C., not advice for anyone else's return. Insurance refused the virtual ADHD clinic. I claimed the psychologist portion using CRA's medical expense information and my receipts after confirming they were an authorized type of practitioner. I am not promising the Canada Revenue Agency will accept every virtual invoice; mine was just my situation.
