Putting specific examples in a referral can make an ADHD request easier to understand, but it is not a proven trick that forces a clinic to take the file more seriously, and it is not a myth that detail never matters either. What usually helps is accurate clinical information rather than a slogan. Duration of symptoms, childhood versus adult onset if known, and functional impairment at work, while driving, in parenting, or in study can show why assessment is being requested. FasTreat also offers private online ADHD assessment and ongoing care, depending on your needs and clinical assessment. I stuffed the referral with examples from my kitchen and my job because a friend said that makes ADHD look real. I do not know if anyone took me more seriously. The wait still felt like a black box. I stopped hunting for a phrase that supposedly jumps the line. This is just me, not a method. I would not tell someone their wording is why they got a call.
