Can ADHD symptoms intensify after becoming a parent?
I'm in my early 30s and since having a kid everything feels harder. Is this common?

Yes, this is very common. Parenthood increases cognitive load, sleep disruption, emotional demands, and constant task switching. These are all areas where ADHD brains work harder. Many adults report that symptoms become more noticeable after having children, even if they coped well before.
This does not mean you are doing worse. It means the environment has changed. Support, structure, and self compassion become even more important during this stage.
