Professional ADHD Healthcare Team At FasTreat
Who is Authorized to
Diagnose ADHD?
ADHD should be diagnosed by a nurse practitioner or mental health professional. It is essential to distinguish between general healthcare providers, such as nurse practitioners. NPs bring a wealth of expertise and a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring thorough assessments and personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs. Their specialized training in mental health allows them to provide high-quality, compassionate care throughout the diagnostic process.
At FasTreat, we exclusively employ board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners and other relevant providers on our platform. It is essential that the diagnosing professionals uphold high standards of care while designing tailored treatment plans that meet each patient's needs.

Are Online Medical Professionals Qualified to Diagnose ADHD?
Prior to the pandemic, the majority of diagnoses and medical care were delivered in-person by providers, clinicians, or certified providers. The onset of the pandemic, however, expedited the transition to virtual healthcare via telehealth services.
At FasTreat, members can schedule appointments online after completing a quick 1-minute assessment. If an ADHD diagnosis appears likely, members can book a 30-minute consultation with a board-certified ADHD provider. After scheduling the appointment, patients must complete an additional intake form 24 hours prior, as well as three supplementary assessments, all aimed at ensuring a comprehensive and accurate diagnosis.
An online diagnosis can cost significantly less—often less than half—compared to an in-person evaluation, making it more competitive than many similar offerings. FasTreat members benefit from round-the-clock access to our care team and the option to schedule unlimited appointments with our providers. Our medical professionals prioritize a holistic approach to patient care, guaranteeing that each interaction is conducted with the utmost professionalism.
