FasTreat has launched online menopause and perimenopause care in Canada, offering virtual consultations with licensed Canadian healthcare providers, personalized treatment planning, and ongoing support for patients experiencing menopause-related symptoms. The service is designed to make menopause care more accessible for patients seeking professional guidance on symptoms, hormone therapy, non-hormonal options, and follow-up care.

“Menopause and perimenopause symptoms can affect sleep, mood, concentration, sexual health, and daily quality of life, yet many patients still face barriers to timely care,” said Jacob, Head of Hormone Services at FasTreat. “By offering online menopause care with licensed Canadian healthcare providers, FasTreat aims to make professional guidance, personalized treatment planning, and ongoing support easier to access.”

Making Menopause Care More Accessible

Perimenopause and menopause can involve much more than hot flashes. Symptoms may include night sweats, sleep disruption, fatigue, mood changes, brain fog, difficulty concentrating, vaginal dryness, and urinary symptoms.

Government of Canada guidance on menopause notes that the menopause experience can vary from person to person and may involve a range of physical, cognitive, and emotional changes.

FasTreat’s online menopause care model provides a direct way to access professional support. Patients can complete an online intake and book a virtual consultation with a licensed Canadian healthcare provider, with no referral needed.

During the consultation, the provider reviews the patient’s symptoms and health history, relevant risk factors, treatment goals, and individual preferences before recommending an appropriate care plan.

Personalized HRT and Menopause Treatment Options

Depending on individual needs and clinical suitability, treatment options may include menopausal hormone therapy (MHT), vaginal and urinary symptom care, or evidence-based non-hormonal options.

HRT is not automatically prescribed. Treatment decisions are made following an individualized clinical assessment that considers symptoms, medical history, potential benefits and risks, and patient preferences.

HealthLink BC guidance on menopause and hormone therapy notes that hormone therapy can help manage menopause symptoms such as hot flashes and sleep problems, while its potential benefits and risks should be discussed with a healthcare professional.

Where appropriate, providers may also recommend laboratory testing, screening, a review of medical records, or in-person assessment to support safe care.

Ongoing Menopause Care Beyond the First Visit

A central part of FasTreat’s approach is providing ongoing menopause care, rather than focusing on a one-time consultation or prescription.

Following the initial consultation, ongoing care can include provider messaging, answers to treatment questions, treatment adjustments, result review, prescription support, and follow-up consultations when clinically appropriate.

The service starts at $99 (regularly $149) for an initial 30-minute online consultation as part of a special introductory offer, with ongoing care available for $49 per month and follow-up consultations for $69 when needed.

Patients can learn more about FasTreat’s online menopause and perimenopause care, including available treatment options and how the virtual care process works.

Menopause can also intersect with sleep, mood, stress, concentration, sexual health, and overall wellbeing. As FasTreat continues to expand its virtual healthcare platform, patients can also access complementary services including mental health care, therapy, and coaching when additional support is needed.

FasTreat began rolling out its online menopause and perimenopause services in Canada in September 2026, continuing the company's expansion into accessible, patient-centred virtual healthcare.
