A drop in sugar craving on Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is something people describe, including a sense that wanting has gone, not only that the stomach feels empty. Official product language is decreased appetite and anorexia, which are labelled and common. Health Canada's Vyvanse monograph notes that about a third of people in trials reported decreased appetite. If the change is persistent, distressing, or affecting daily functioning, bring a brief timeline to the prescribing clinician rather than changing the dose independently. Different for me. I do not want sugar either, but I also forget lunch until I am shaky. That part worried me more than the cravings. I told my doctor I was skipping meals without meaning to. They asked about weight at the follow-up. I am not saying this is how it should feel for anyone else. Just my story.

I still get hungry at dinner. What disappeared was the 3pm hunt for sweets. I used to think about chocolate constantly. On Vyvanse that pull is just not there. I mentioned it because I was not sure if that was appetite or something else. I have not lost a dramatic amount of weight, but I eat less snack food. This is only my experience. Personal only, not advice.
