Starting testosterone can coincide with a change in how ADHD feels for some people, and it may not for others. That is not a mapped ADHD mechanism, and testosterone is not an ADHD medicine. Endocrine Society guidance on testosterone therapy addresses hypogonadism and related endocrine care, not ADHD treatment.

Starting T changed my sleep more than it changed my to-do list, at least in the first months. I told the gender clinic and the ADHD clinic separately. I did not ask either of them to match doses to each other from a thread. Focus felt a bit clearer some weeks and worse when I was wired at 2am. My body, not a mapped ADHD effect, and not a reason to copy my bottles.

My ADHD meds were not retuned as a testosterone project. I wanted them to be, because I like tidy explanations. The prescriber said we could watch symptoms, not chase a testosterone-ADHD recipe. I still lose my keys. I still show up to both labs. I would not tell anyone to change ADHD tablets when T starts. This is only my overlap.
