Can I just self-diagnose ADHD based on online checklists instead of getting assessed?

Took four different online ADHD quizzes over the past month and scored 'highly likely' on all of them, which honestly tracks with everything else in my life. Assessment costs money and takes time I don't really have right now, so I'm asking the unpopular question: if the checklists are this consistent, is there real harm in just... believing them and moving on with my life, versus paying for a formal assessment? What would an actual assessment catch that four separate quizzes wouldn't?

Did four quizzes too before finally getting assessed and honestly the assessment caught something the quizzes completely missed — turns out a chunk of my 'ADHD' symptoms were actually sleep apnea messing with my focus, not ADHD at all. Would've kept treating the wrong thing indefinitely if I'd just trusted the quiz results and stopped there.
