Quebec: does private insurance usually cover Vyvanse, or am I stuck paying full price?

My group insurance booklet is forty pages of "sous réserve de certaines conditions" and I've given up doing this by reading. Québec folks on private/group plans: did yours cover Vyvanse outright, force generic lisdexamfetamine first, or demand prior authorization? And for anyone on the RAMQ public plan instead — what does a month actually cost you after the deductible? Trying to figure out if I should be budgeting $30 or $130. Quebec City, 36M, freshly diagnosed and financially confused.

Group plan (employer, one of the big insurers): Vyvanse covered at 80% — but only after a documented generic trial, which the pharmacist had to submit. Nobody mentioned this; first month was full price for nothing. Ask your pharmacy to run a pre-check on your coverage BEFORE the first refill — takes them five minutes and would have saved me $130.

Public RAMQ side for completeness: about $96 the first month (deductible + coinsurance), then the monthly maximum caps it. Not cheap, but predictable — and zero authorization paperwork, unlike the private plans in this thread. Some months I bless the simplicity.
