Is there a real risk of getting fake medication when a prescription is filled through an online platform?
The whole online assessment-to-prescription pipeline felt smooth until the pickup step, where I actually had a moment of pause handing my prescription number to a pharmacy website that I'd genuinely never heard of before this week. Rationally I know it's a real pharmacy license situation, not some grey-market website, but the process felt different enough from walking into Shoppers that I want a reality check: is counterfeit medication an actual risk here, or is that fear leftover from unrelated sketchy online pharmacy horror stories?

Checked mine against the Ontario College of Pharmacists registry after having the exact same paranoid moment, took like five minutes and it was legit. Would recommend just doing that instead of spiraling about it like I did, way faster than it sounds and actually puts it to rest.
