Can a Nurse Practitioner actually diagnose and prescribe for ADHD, or does it need to be an MD?
Got matched with a Nurse Practitioner instead of a doctor for my ADHD assessment and I'll admit my first reaction was mild disappointment, like I was getting a lesser version of the real thing. Can NPs actually diagnose and prescribe for this on their own, or does it technically need to be signed off by an actual MD somewhere?
