It should not automatically count against an ADHD assessment. Family history is supporting context, not a requirement. ADHD is heritable in population studies, but many adults, especially women historically, were never assessed, so a family without diagnoses can still be consistent with ADHD in the person in front of the clinician. FasTreat also offers private online ADHD assessment and ongoing care, depending on your needs and clinical assessment.
