Menopause-related brain fog and ADHD can look alike, and it is common for different clinicians to emphasise different labels, but that disagreement does not by itself prove which explanation is complete. NHS menopause pages describe concentration and memory complaints that can occur around menopause. NHS ADHD pages describe long-standing inattention, impulsivity, or restlessness that may only be named in adulthood. HRT may be considered for menopausal symptoms, but it is not a treatment for ADHD.
