Can generic ADHD medication feel weaker during perimenopause?

Personal experience only. Pharmacy swapped my generic during peri and I felt awful, but my doctor said part of it was also waking up four times a night from sweats. I waited until I had more than a few dramatic days before I raised it. Some weeks were fine if I slept; other weeks the same routine collapsed. I did not start, stop, or split medicines on my own. Clinic review was slower than I wanted, but safer. This is anecdotal, not a recommendation.
