Pharmacist mentioned a generic option would be significantly cheaper than what I'm currently on, but I've read mixed things online about whether generics work as well for ADHD specifically compared to brand-name. Is the cost savings real, and is the effectiveness concern legitimate or overblown?

Switched to generic a couple years ago purely for the cost savings, honestly couldn't tell a difference at all, still on it. Know a couple people who did notice a difference and switched back though, seems genuinely person-dependent rather than one clear universal answer.
