You can request a copy of your own assessment report. Health privacy and access-to-information rules in Canadian provinces generally treat the record as yours to request, with limited exceptions. Clinics may take a stated number of days that is set in their policy or in provincial health-information law; they can charge reasonable fees in some provinces; they can refuse limited portions. FasTreat also offers private online ADHD assessment and ongoing care, depending on your needs and clinical assessment.

Calling every week did nothing until I asked about a formal health-record request. I felt rude putting it on paper. They still took a while, and a couple of pages were withheld with a note I did not fully understand. I looked at the provincial privacy-commissioner information before I decided whether to complain. I have not filed anything yet. This is only my delay, not legal advice for someone else's clinic.

I had to put the request in writing after weeks of we will email it. They eventually sent a copy and billed a records fee I was not expecting. I kept a dated note of each call. I did not get a lecture on ADHD from the clerk; it was a records office problem. A cousin of mine got theirs faster with no fee, so I do not think there is one national timeline. Just my stall, not a template for someone else's clinic.
