Can birth control change how well my Adderall works?

Personal experience only. Just my timeline. Starting estrogen-containing pills coincided with Adderall feeling weaker and my mood dipping. After switching methods, focus improved somewhat. I kept the ADHD diagnosis and meds; hormones were one variable among several. I kept a notes-app log for a couple of months: sleep, missed pills, and which days actually felt usable. I did not use that log to change a dose myself. I took it to clinic and asked my prescribers to look at the overlap together. I still needed ADHD care. This is only my experience, not medical advice.
