I keep seeing ADHD coaching recommended online but the fees are quite high. From a clinical perspective, in which situations do you genuinely see coaching make a meaningful difference for adults, and when would you suggest prioritising therapy or other supports instead?

Coaching can be expensive. It can be beneficial if you have the time an extended benefits through your workplace. Coaching is something that many extended benefits offer within the health spending benefits. To find a ADHD coach, you may have to go through a psychologist who is well versed in ADHD, However if you have this money available, it may be a free benefit. Ask your HR to advise you if your company has this particular benefit. This type of coach can be written into your Diagnosis Plan at Fastreat. I would write a diagnosis letter advising your work that you were assessed at Fastreat. Detailed and extensive questionnaires were completed for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders and ADHD. An interview was conducted by way of telemedicine. The details were documented. The summary of the impression is that the patient meets the DSM-V Diagnostic Criteria for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). If accommodation is to be pursed now or in the future, I would suggest: Writing tests, exams and work in a separate quiet room. Taking short movement breaks during extended work days. Be provided more time to complete projects. An ADHD coach would be beneficial. Many work places require a diagnostic letter to unlock these accommodations. And at Fastreat once you have the diagnosis we can easily put together a letter with a work plan that will work for you.
