Diagnosed with both ADHD and autism, and also interested in weight management — how do these different services actually coordinate?
Already navigating both ADHD and autism diagnoses and their respective care, and now considering adding weight management into the mix too. Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the idea of a third separate service and provider relationship, wondering how people manage coordinating across that many moving pieces.

Same boat, three separate care relationships at once was genuinely a lot at first. The updated-document approach mentioned above is honestly the single biggest thing that made it manageable, stopped the constant re-explaining every single new provider visit.

Genuinely can be a lot to juggle, no way around that honestly, but a few things helped me manage something similar. Keeping one running, updated document with my full diagnosis and medication list that I share with every new provider I add, rather than relying on memory or assuming records transfer automatically between separate services, saved me a ton of repeated explaining and reduced the risk of something getting missed.
Also worth being upfront with a new provider (weight management in your case) about sensory sensitivities or communication preferences tied to autism specifically, since that can affect how an assessment or ongoing treatment relationship actually goes for you, not something to assume they'll pick up on without you flagging it directly.
Doesn't need to all happen at once either, adding one new service line at a time rather than everything simultaneously made the whole thing feel more manageable for me personally.
