Yes. Socializing places heavy demands on attention, memory, and emotional regulation. Afterward, it is common to feel foggy, slow, or depleted as the brain recovers. This fog is often worse if masking was involved or if the interaction required a lot of focus. Even positive social time can drain executive resources. Needing quiet time afterward is a normal response, not a sign that something went wrong.
