Do you see many adults whose ADHD is masked by being ‘high achieving’ at school and uni?

Very often. High achievement does not rule out ADHD. Many adults succeed academically but at a significant internal cost. They may rely on anxiety, perfectionism, last minute adrenaline, or excessive hours to compensate. From the outside they look organized and capable, but internally they feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or constantly behind. Masking can delay diagnosis for years because grades look fine. When we assess, we look beyond performance to effort, stress, and sustainability. Thriving should not require constant crisis mode.
