ADHD takes alot of brain power daily. Unmedicated ADHD can be a true burden for someone to participate fully in today's world. As we reach our outmost limits of tasks and family life someone with ADHD can find things just start spiraling out of control. It was like one too many tasks were given to you and all of a sudden you can't handle yourself effectively. This instability makes someone with ADHD unable to function. Medications and/or therapy can assist with this from happening regularly. ADHD takes lots of your brain power. To actually focus and get a task done without taking on a couple more tasks at the same time is nearly impossible. When your work and your partner realize you have an ADHD diagnosis, the unclear expectations may stop. You will be able to be more clear in your overall communication as well as the medication and/or therapy will assist you in making the brain fog disappear.
